Special Events

We are honored to have a guest evangelist Bro. Chris Livengood preach for the church on this day. We are confident that the Lord will give us a blessing in the preaching that the Lord gives him. In addition, we will be having a special music presentation from Ms. Sandy Davis. We are very much looking forward to this wonderful day.   Of course, we will have our usual fellwship potluck lunch between services.  We pray that you can join us for this special day.

Unfortunately, we missed last month's Central Indiana Youth Rally due to the unpredictable Indiana weather.  However, next months activity promises to be exciting!!!  On March 5th we will have the rally at Northern Park Baptist Church. Followed with a linger longer at PIZZA INCREDIBLE!!!!   The cost for the after rally activity is $15.00 and includes the $5.00 pizza buffet as well as a $10 game card that each teen can decide how he/she would like to spend it. There is lazer tag, bumper cars, go carts, mini golf, and mini bowling, as well as an arcade to chose from.  Of course, if the teen needs extra money for the activities they will need to bring that as well.  We should return from this event between 12:00 and 2:00 AM depending on how quickly the teens and the adults take to run out of money...  This Youth Activity is for all youth in grades 6th-12th:  It will be on February 5th, 2010.  We will meet at the church at 4:45 as usual.  Please contact the Pastor Steve or Ms. Crystal if you will have any trouble with financing for this activity, or transportation to the church.

FYI:  These teen rallies will be held on the first Friday of each month every month for the school year. The last one is scheduled for May.  During the summer there is no youth rallies, but it will start again in September. 

Faithful Word Baptist Church is proud to announce that our Wednesday night service is now completely dedicated to this childrens program.  For more information you can check out the Master Club program in detail at www.masterclubs.org.  Pastor Steve and Ms. Crystal have over 9 years of experience in working in childrens ministries and are very passionate about reaching children for Christ.  Please bring your children to the church on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.  If you need to arrange for transportation for your kids to get to the church, please contact the pastor.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!

WE ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE MASTER CLUBS REGIONALS COMPETITION IN OHIO ON MARCH 20TH, 2010.

THE COMPETITION ITSELF IS RESTRICED FOR THOSE CHILDREN IN GRADES 3RD-6TH.  HOWEVER, IF YOUR TEEN OR 2ND GRADER WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND, WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO BRING THEM WITH US. WE DO NEED TEEN JUDGES TO VOLUNTEER. AND IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR THE 2ND GRADERS TO ATTEND SO THEY KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FOR NEXT YEAR.  THE COST FOR THE REGIONAL ACTIVITY IS $10.00, AND INCLUDES A LUNCH PROVIDED BY MASTER CLUBS. SOME SAMPLES OF THE ACTIVITIES THEY WILL COMPETE IN ARE:  SWORD DRILLS, OBSTACLE COURSES, BIBLE MEMORIZATION, SINGING, INSTRUMENT PLAYING, SPEED STACKING, AND VARIOUS OTHER BIBLE GAMES THAT WE HAVE BEEN PRACTICING ON WED. NIGHTS. PLEASE SEE MS. CRYSTAL FOR MORE DETAILS IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING.

Thank you to all who attended our Sunday Evening Service on December 13th.  We had our most in attendance EVER. It was such a blessing to see the church packed out for our special Christmas Music that the Choir had prepared for.  There were duets, trios, ensembles, a piano solo, and choir numbers. It was a tremendous blessing for all those who enjoyed it. Thank you Choir members for working so hard to prepare in such little time. You did a wonderful job!

After the Christmas program we all stayed and had a wonderful time of fellowship with food and games with our First Annual Christmas Party. It was such a blessing, and we cannot wait and are already planning for next years Christmas Party.
