About the Pastor

Hello, welcome again to the website for Faithful Word Baptist Church.

This specific web page will give you a little bit of information about me, the Pastor of Faithful Word Baptist Church.

It is only by God's grace that I find myself a Pastor of a Fundamental Baptist Church.  I would like to take a moment to thank the men and families who have supported and encouraged me over the years as I have sought to do the Lord's will.  Without thier help, and the guiding of the Holy Spirit, Faithful Word Baptist Church might very well not be in existence today.

My name is Stephen Kalamotousakis. I met my wife, Crystal, in Kindergarten and married her in the Summer of 1992.  We have been blessed with three wonderful children. Sean is the oldest at 14, Michaela is our only girl and is 10, and Matthew is the youngest at 7 years old.  

My wife and I accepted Christ on the same day at the age of 26, that was 12 years ago.  The Lord has worked a miracle in our lives since then.

The Lord called me as a Pastor approximately 9 years ago. During that nine years, I have been involved in the Youth ministries of three local Baptist churches and now the ministry of Faithful Word Baptist Church since December 2008.

Prior to starting Faithful Word I had been the Youth Director at a local Baptist Church for two years, but felt that the Lord was calling me to start and pastor a new Fundamental Baptist Church.  We had our first church service on December 7th, 2008 in our home. 

Our prayer is that Faithful Word Baptist Church will remain faithful to God's Word, as God's Word is always faithful to us.

My hope is that I will remain a humble servant of the Lord as I do his work in leading the lost to Him.  And, bringing glory to Him by ministering to the people of this community and strengthening them in their walk with the Lord.  We have already been tremendously blessed by having witnessed several people accept Christ as Savior while out Soul-Winning.  PRAISE JESUS!    Pray for us as we continue the the Lord's work of fulfilling the Great Commission!
